From the heart of Cape Town to the national stage, Xola Toto is a voice on the rise. Recently sharing the spotlight with the iconic CeCe Winans, this celebrated singer-songwriter is making a major impact. A powerhouse vocalist in the award-winning The Jesus Collective and now a signed solo artist with Collective Records, Xola channels her profound faith into music that resonates across the country.

Born in Khayelitsha, Xola’s early life was shaped by her family's strong devotion to God. Her musical journey began at the age of 10, singing in church and at family gatherings. This spiritual and musical foundation set the stage for a remarkable career.

Xola first captured the nation's attention with her "larger than life voice" as a Top 16 finalist on Season 15 of Idols SA. Her talent for blending genres was evident early on; in 2013, she was headhunted as the lead singer for the Cape Town-based jazz band, "the Chapters." A versatile and sought-after collaborator, Xola has worked with industry heavyweights across the musical spectrum, including Spirit of Praise, Mshayi & Mr. Thela, Mailo Music, Lusanda Bheja (Indumiso Enkulu), and Chumani Ngojo (New Praise).

In 2023, Xola joined the acclaimed gospel ensemble "The Jesus Collective" (TJC), sharing the stage with icons such as Ntokozo Mbambo, Khaya Mthethwa, and Loyiso Bala. Her standout feature on the TJC Flow Vol 1 soundtrack, "Refreshing," solidified her status as a formidable voice in gospel music.

Following her work with TJC, Xola signed a solo recording contract with Collective Records. She is currently in production for her debut full-length studio album, collaborating with legendary US-based producer Asaph A Ward. 

Beyond music, Xola is a multi-faceted entrepreneur and influencer. She is the CEO and founder of Xbeauty and a recognised social media personality. Rooted in faith and driven by her gift, Xola Toto is a dynamic force, inspiring audiences with a story of perseverance, faith, and the power of believing in God.
